On April 23, 2026, at Apache Elementary School, Jasmine brought cultural dance to a joyful family gathering where communities came together to celebrate traditions from around the world. Performances took place outdoors before a large audience of families, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Despite the chilly weather and the challenge of dancing on a concrete stage, the dancers remained focused, delivering beautiful performances that reflected both their dedication in sharing Chinese culture.

Starting off, Tiffany performed "Naughty", a lively and playful dance filled with quick footwork, sharp accents, and expressive energy. Her confident stage presence set an engaging tone for the rest of the program.

Next, Katie performed "Dancing Peacock", a traditional piece inspired by the elegance of the peacock. It combines Chinese classical dance with Dai ethnic dance styles to express the beauty of a peacock.

Daphne performed "Jiu Er", a lyrical Chinese dance that blended expressive storytelling with controlled, graceful movement. She captured the emotion and quiet strength of the piece, drawing the audience's attention.

Jasmine dancers shared Chinese culture at a lively outdoor celebration for families and the community. Despite chilly weather and a concrete stage, they performed with focus and grace, presenting a range of dances that reflected both artistry and pride in their heritage. We are especially thankful for this community service opportunity, which allowed us to connect with others and share the joy of cultural expression through dance.
