Over the past three years as the Jasmine Youth Director, Audrey has displayed extraordinary leadership abilities as both a Youth Director and a Dance Teacher's Assistant. Audrey has helped the Jasmine Dance Group gain greater recognition throughout Kansas City. Using her dance skills, she exemplified the legacy of traditional Chinese culture after the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the summer of 2022, Audrey teamed up with the activities director at Tallgrass Creek to organize a show for the residents. They skillfully handled logistics like music and performance area arrangements. Audrey then contacted Jasmine performers to create a program, which received a highly positive and enthusiastic response from individuals excited to participate in one of the initial community outreach performances since the pandemic began.
Audrey's unwavering dedication and significant contributions to the Jasmine Dance Group earned her the prestigious $1000 Jasmine Scholarship of Excellence upon the completion of her term. We have complete confidence that Audrey will continue to positively impact and inspire those around her as she embarks on her educational journey at Scripps College (Claremont, CA).
